FAQ

Common questions before deciding.

Hybrid vs on-grid — what's the difference?
On-grid systems feed excess power to the grid via net metering but offer no backup during outages. Hybrid systems add a battery, giving backup power while still connecting to the grid.
How much battery do I need? +
Depends on which loads you want backed up and for how long — we size this against your actual appliance list during the site survey, not a generic rule of thumb.
How much does solar cost? +
Cost depends on system size, structure type, and whether battery storage is included. We provide an itemized quote after a short site assessment.
What's the current net metering process? +
We handle the full application on your behalf — from DISCO submission through to bi-directional meter installation.
How long does installation take? +
Most residential systems are installed and commissioned within [X] weeks of signed proposal, depending on site readiness.
Can an existing solar system be upgraded? +
Yes — we assess your current inverter and wiring setup to determine what can be added, such as battery storage or additional capacity.
